Caterham KN 8 Spokes

Not really a build step, hence why I haven't numbered it, but I've been after a set of these wheels for a while now. I wanted to have these on my car from day one and personally I don't think the black/diamond cut apollos looks as nice on the Caterham, each to their own of course! Also as I plan on taking this car on the track, I'd like 2 sets of wheels so I can swap them over as and when necessary.

I was checking marketplaces and for sale for months to try and get hold of some of these, and every time they popped up for sale, they seemed to sell before I managed to get a message to the seller! In the end I put up a wanted post on the Caterham and Lotus 7 owners forum and after a bit of time waiting someone kindly offered to sell their old track based KN 8 spokes to me. I guess the moral here is that if you are after something make it known and then you have the best chance of sourcing it!

This was the look I was aiming for with the colour and wheels, although I'm keeping the wheel arches colour coded red instead of black and also have the clear lens pack with a windscreen, oh and I have the lowered headlights, which make it look much less like a smiling face!
